Welcome to China4Kids! This site is under construction. The content has been selected to support the Massachusetts History and Social Science Curriculum Framework, Grade 4 Learning Standards (4.1-4.6). Some supplemental material has also been included for students interested in learning about aspects of traditional Chinese culture that continue to have relevance today (for example, holidays). "Chinese civilization" should be understood as a dynamic and evolving cultural heritage. Students are encouraged to think about links between past and present, continuity and change.
